Aviazione Marittima Italiana, under the visionary guidance of Orazio Frigino, has done precisely that.
The 2026 Seaplane Tour of Italy — Gidro d’Italia — has just started.

2025 was a year of awakening as more and more local authorities consider again the seaplane as a way to connect places and catch up on infrastructure absence or delay.

We see also the romantic value of seaplane aviation as one of the ways to create durable connections among countries, respecting the environment and discovering our marvellous territory from a new perspective.
