What do you do when you have a roof that is fully exposed to sunlight…? ☀

…you build a system, of course!
At least that’s what Daniel Cvacho and Vladimír Ciesarík envisioned for their company’s building at Scheidt & Bachmann Slovensko.

By implementing this idea, the company’s branch in Bytča, Slovakia, was not only able to significantly reduce its annual energy consumption from 440 MWh to 150 MWh⚡, it also now saves 24.16 tons of CO2 per year! That’s about the same amount of emissions as 6 round-trip flights between Bratislava, Slovakia and Los Angeles, U.S.A! ✈

It includes thermal insulation, a new air-to-air heat pump, and a 32.7 kWpeak photovoltaic system, aiming to cut energy costs by 6,150€ per year and boost sustainability. 👏

The current of the month, features an project by Katarzyna Szemraj, Agnieszka Piotrowska, Michał Papaj, Michał Węklar and Aleksander Roszkiewicz who worked on an implementation plan for a photovoltaic system on ROHLIG SUUS Logistics based in Sokołów near Warsaw. The implementation of the project will be handeled by the real estate department. Thereby, making an important step toward providing greener logistic services. 🚚

While reducing greenhouse gas emissions and electricity bills our fostered energy independence and increased their firm’s competitiveness. They even mapped out the financing options 💰 for this investment and found a solution with a low amortization period💡

In June’s 2024 , our Dominika Šuranová, Radovan Vaško and Stanislav Dobrotka optimized the heating system for Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia, showcasing their expertise in . 💡

Our applied their knowledge to analyze the existing system, identify inefficiencies, and implement smart solutions, showing that improvements in do not necessarily have to be made through production process optimization. 💪

Young Energy Europe 3.0 has kicked-off! 🎊

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Young Energy Europe 3.0, our successor project that’s set to empower young professionals across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, and North Macedonia to become !

The trainings equip future with skills to analyze and uncover energy and resource-saving potentials within their companies. 🌿💡

Participants will have the chance to put their new gained knowledge and skills into action by developing their own practical project on .

The project is a joint effort with the German Chambers of Commerce in our partner countries with whom we just kicked-off the new project phase. 🚀

Our special guest Przemysław Kuczyński shared insights from a company's perspective on an project developed at Volkswagen Poznan.

New brochure on Young Energy Europe 2.0 just released!

Our freshly published brochure, titled “Efficient Use of Energy & Resources,” summarizes the remarkable project phase of 2.0 from 2021 to 2024 🌟

Between April 2021 and March 2024:
✔ 798 young professionals became certified and discovered numerous ways to reduce energy consumption in their companies by designing
✔ 361 practical projects that demonstrate tangible measures to save energy and resources and revealing
✔ 121,000 MWh of electricity and 124,000 tons of CO2 emissions of annual savings potentials!
💡 On average, one identifies savings potentials and reductions of 152 MWh of electricity and 155 tons of CO2 per year
