Introducing the Anogeia Weaving House – a welcoming space, part museum, part café, part creative studio, where knowledge, memory, craftsmanship, and contemporary creativity converge.
Envisioned and gifted to the Municipality of Anogeia by the Chairwoman – UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for the Protection and Promotion of Culture and co-owner of PHĀEA – together with her daughter Carmen, the project is housed in the former workshop of Costantza’s grandmother, Agapi Sbokou, rebuilt after the village’s destruction in 1944.
The inaugural exhibition features woven textiles that survived the wartime Holocaust, alongside heirlooms from local families, preserving the enduring spirit of Anogeia’s weaving tradition. True inspiration❤️
