Danielle Lowman Is Lightning Fast!

Danielle Lowman did it again—another 1.9-second run!

It was her second 1.9 of the week, and this one gave DLow the fastest time of the performance while also tying her for first overall at the Kitsap Stampede.

When you're stopping the clock under two seconds more than once in the same week, you're doing something right. Danielle continues to show why she's one of the most exciting names to watch in breakaway roping.

Stetson Wright — World All-Around Leader!

Every ride tells a story, and Stetson Wright’s story continues to be one of the greatest in modern rodeo.

The Beaver, Utah cowboy is sitting No. 1 in the PRCA All-Around World Standings with $347,394.70, once again putting himself in position to add even more gold to an already legendary career.

And that $347K isn’t luck. It comes from showing up, competing in multiple events and finding ways to win throughout a long, demanding season.

Already a 10-time World Champion, Stetson continues to prove that the hunger hasn’t disappeared just because his trophy case is full.

John Crimber Is Staying With the Florida Freedom!

That’s BIG news for the Freedom. 2026 PBR World Champion John Crimber has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him with Florida through the 2029 PBR Teams season.

And when you look at what John has already done for this team, the decision makes plenty of sense. Florida selected him No. 1 overall in the 2024 PBR Teams Draft, and he went on to win the 2024 Teams MVP, followed by another MVP season in 2025. At only 20, he then became the second-youngest PBR World Champion in history.

There’s another special connection here: John’s father, Paulo Crimber, is the head coach of the Florida Freedom. But this extension is about much more than keeping a coach’s son around—John has already established himself as one of the most valuable young riders in PBR. There are probably plenty of other teams that would LOVE the chance to put him in their jersey.

And Florida is even giving him room to chase history: John has been excused from PBR Teams competition during September so he can focus on the PRCA. After winning the 2026 PBR World Championship, he is now attempting to become the first rider to win the PBR and PRCA bull riding world titles in the same year.

Smart move by Florida—or would you have loved to see John Crimber ride for another team?

Wait… Stetson & Statler Are Team Roping Now Too?!

Just when you thought the Wright brothers had enough going on in the rodeo arena, Stetson and Statler Wright decided to pick up the ropes too!

After winning Woody Wednesdays in Parowan, Stetson joked:

“Haters will say we used glue, but Statler Wright and I glued it to them last night…”

You have to love it. Saddle bronc riding, bull riding—and now team roping. Apparently being a Wright means you’re never satisfied with just one event.

Fans were already having fun with it: “I knew y’all would end up roping also!” And of course, somebody had to joke that those matching blue shirts were worth a two-second faster flag.

For Stetson especially, adding more roping to the mix is an entertaining thought. He’s already proven himself as one of the great all-around roughstock cowboys of his generation. Now imagine him getting serious in the team roping pen too.

And little brother Statler? He looks perfectly happy joining in on the fun.

One Historic Eight Seconds! 🔥

José Vitor Leme delivered another unforgettable moment with a huge 90-point ride, and G-Man takes fans right inside those eight seconds in Mic’d Up Moments presented by Tecovas.

When Leme is locked in, every second seems to matter. The three-time PBR World Champion continues to show why he belongs among the greats of his generation.

Someone’s Doing Something Wright Again!

It couldn’t have worked out much better for the Wright family in Pueblo. Stetson and Statler Wright shared the top spot at the Colorado State Fair & Rodeo, each putting 88 points on the board. Stetson did it aboard Frontier Rodeo’s First Class, while Statler matched him aboard Double J Rodeo Company’s Breezy Fling.

And these weren’t just two winning rides. Both brothers have plenty at stake as September begins.

Stetson, the 10-time World Champion, sits No. 3 in the world and continues chasing more gold. Statler, the reigning 2025 World Champion, is fighting his way toward the Top 15, hoping to get back to Vegas for the chance to defend his buckle.

Two brothers. Two 88-point rides. One championship.

You can only imagine how proud Cody and ShaRee Wright must be watching their boys continue the family tradition. And with Lily Jo Wright making her own name in barrel racing, there may be plenty more Wright family moments still to come.

Talented, competitive, yet always a family first—again, somebody’s doing something Wright!

The Next Generation of Brazilian Rodeo Royalty!

What a proud moment for the Alves family!

Hany Alves, daughter of three-time PBR World Champion Silvano Alves, stepped into the spotlight herself by winning the breakaway roping title at the legendary Festa do Peão de Barretos in Brazil.

And perhaps the best part was seeing her dad watching with that unmistakable smile. Silvano spent years making Brazil proud on the biggest bull riding stages in the world. Now he gets to watch the next generation of his family create her own rodeo story.

Brazil has produced some true rodeo royalty—from Adriano Moraes, one of the pioneers and three-time PBR World Champion, to Silvano Alves and the champions who followed them. Now Hany is carrying that tradition forward in a different event.

Congratulations, Hany—and congratulations to one very proud dad! ❤️

Don’t Count Statler Wright Out Just Yet!

Statler Wright is sitting No. 21 in the saddle bronc world standings, which means there’s still work to do if he wants to get back inside the Top 15 and return to Las Vegas.

But if there’s one thing we learned from Statler’s incredible 2025 championship run, it’s this: never count him out.

The defending World Champion knows how to perform when the pressure gets heavy, and with valuable September money still available, the door isn’t closed yet.

As his fans keep saying: “He’s got this. Just wait.”

Earlier this year, 2024 PRCA Ba****ck Riding World Champion Dean Thompson stepped away from rodeo to face a much bigger battle—cancer.

Then, on August 29, Dean reminded everyone what kind of fighter he is.

At the Golden Spike Rodeo, Thompson matched up with OLS Tubs Stevie Knicks for a huge 92.5 points, earning $7,896 and, most importantly, capturing his first rodeo victory since undergoing treatment.

A World Championship proves what you can do in the arena. Coming back from something like this shows a completely different kind of strength.

After the fight of a lifetime, Dean Thompson is riding—and winning—again.
