So, here's a late recap and shout out to the winners and sponsors of this years Danish Aeropress Championship!
A huge congrats to the winner Isabella Lopez at this years Danish Aeropress Championship!
She’s not working for any coffee company, just an independant coffee lover (though her boyfriend is this years Brewers Cup champion in Denmark, who also competed with the Aeropress…) that brought the coffee to new heights!
Second place was won by Mikkel Selmer from La Cabra in Århus and 3rd place went to Johannes Niemann from The Coffee Collective.
This years mystery coffee was Don Carlos, Coco Natural from Bolivia!
It was, as far as we know, the first time this coffee was brought to Denmark and it hasn’t for sale in any shops.
What made this coffee so special for us was the cleanliness and the immense sweetness.
I pressume that the judges really appreciated the cleanliness, it can be quite a challenge to sip funky naturals for several hours.
