The camera isn't the only attraction.

Hola amigos,

Today I watched visitors holding their phones very carefully. They wanted the perfect picture before my family noticed them.

That plan almost never works.

The little ones in my family are curious about everything. A camera quickly catches their attention. Sunglasses are interesting too. And if your hair looks fun, they just have to take a closer look.

Before visitors know it, a tiny face is looking straight into the camera. The perfect pose disappears, but something much better takes its place.

Real laughter.

That is what makes every visit to Monkey Home Puerto Plata so special. My family never poses because someone asks. They simply enjoy meeting new people every day. Every photo becomes a surprise, and every surprise becomes a holiday memory.

I saw one little monkey holding a phone today.

"Wow, look! We have more than 300 Tripadvisor reviews. And my family has an average of 5 stars!"

The little ones looked at the screen again and again. They seemed very proud. Maybe sunflower seeds deserve five stars too.

Amazing experience for tourist and locals alike.

There are so many animals (turtles, geese, peacock, chickens, parrots, guinea pigs, goat, capira, and MONKEYS!!!)

All of these you get to pet and spend plenty of time with family and kids. It was an amazing experience and we'll worth the price.

Very friendly and accommodating.

Highly recommended!!

But my monkey family at Monkey Home is much more cute then our neighbours.
