2022-2023 has been an amazing year. Ava Airways still stands as one of the best airline concepts and models for private equity investors in the Caribbean and Latin America. 2023 was the year we focused on defending our turf, signing many new agreements, regardless of the illegalities of the plagiarizers in our marketplace.

Thank you Ground Handling International for having me CEO Ava Airways participate as speaker at the 7th Americas GHI Conference in Punta Cana.

The panel addressed the current staffing challenges the industry is facing, specially the forecasted reduction in the inflow of qualified aspiring professionals over the next decade and the impact of macroeconomic conditions in the region. The panelists concluded that solutions will be found through a combination of including more technology and communication campaigns focused on the industry’s "cool factor" to attract younger generations, as well as creating appropriate work environments to retain existing experienced staff.

Today the President of the JAC Mr. met with the Ava Airways team on a working visit to discusses the future of Dominican Republic Aviation together with the attorneys . Ava Airways was very happy with the outcome of the meeting and looking forward to the continued working relationship with the Economic Authority.
