I hate moving.
Be it the 1,125 meters Joanna Clover Vargha and I did from The Lofts at White Furniture to a house on North Third Street, in Mebane, North Carolina.
Or the 4,300 kilometers from Mebane to Cuenca, Ecuador.
Both are a pain in the derrière.
But, moving to another country takes a bit more than going down the street or to the other side of the state.
And I am talking about more than money.
My blog post today addresses moving your stuff to Cuenca.
Though I do not have any sort of official statistics, I am guessing at least half of North Americans in Cuenca brought their household goods with them.
And a lot more from the U.S. are doing it since January 20th (“No one was staying”).
