Scotland is officially OPEN for registration!

After a two-week soft opening to my Sarah Dippen Yoga email subscribers, I'm excited to finally share this adventure with everyone!

The response has been fantastic—we've already filled one-third of the trip, and because so many travelers requested private rooms, I've already added additional single accommodations so more solo travelers can experience Scotland their way.

Over eight unforgettable days, we'll journey through Edinburgh, the Highlands, the Isle of Skye, and the Outer Hebrides with a local kilted Scottish guide who will introduce us to the landscapes, history, folklore, culture, and hidden places that make Scotland so unforgettable.

🛳 Ferry to the islands.
🚶🏻‍♀️ Walk among ancient standing stones.
🌄 Explore dramatic coastlines and Highland glens.
🏰 Visit iconic castles.
😍 Experience Scotland through the eyes of a local.
🚌 All from the comfort of our private tour bus & local inns.

Every detail has been thoughtfully planned so you can simply show up, settle in, and experience one of the world's most beautiful countries alongside an incredible group of travelers.

Or, if another destination is calling your name, what country should I research for a future retreat?

Flights to Spain are still looking REALLY reasonable right now 👀✈️🇪🇸

This screenshot? A real example you could book today:
MSP → Málaga roundtrip on the Delta family of airlines for $937.

For Europe…that’s a solid deal.

And if the idea of international travel feels exciting but also a little intimidating — that’s exactly why I do what I do at Sarah Dippen Yoga Retreats.

A lot of our travelers come solo.
Not because they want to be alone…
…but because they’re ready to finally say yes to themselves.

I create trips that help solo travelers take the vacation they’ve been dreaming about safely and confidently — while meeting cool people and doing unforgettable things along the way.

You don’t have to figure out every train, airport, transfer, or detail alone.
That’s one of the best parts of traveling with our groups:
✨ instant community
✨ built-in support
✨ confidence to go farther than you normally would

If Spain has been sitting in the back of your mind…consider this your sign.

Trade the first cold snap of fall for palm trees, tapas, sunshine, mountain towns, Mediterranean air, flamenco music, and a week that reminds you LIFE IS MEANT TO BE EXPERIENCED!

You are stronger than you think.
And this trip?
Worth it — just like you are.

One of the best parts about Wintering is bringing back the providers that everyone talks about long after the weekend ends — and I’m so excited to share that Arshea Buck will be returning again this year as our on-site aesthetician!!!

If you’ve attended Wintering before, you already know her facial appointments go fast for a reason.

Arshea brings such a calm, welcoming energy to the retreat weekend and her 1hr facials have become part of the Wintering tradition at this point. Between the warm spa room, Celluma light therapy, cozy blankets, glowing skin, and an hour to completely unplug… women come out of her room looking like they just slept for 14 hours and got their life together. 😂

And with all of that said… Wintering 2026 is now down to just 6 beds remaining.

If this sounds like your kind of pre-holiday weekend away, now’s the time to grab your spot before we officially sell out.

One unexpected side effect of planning a three-week trip to Spain?

I've fallen completely down the travel packing rabbit hole.

Not shopping. (Ok, maybe some shopping) ... Strategic packing.

Because if I'm going to spend three weeks moving between Málaga, Ronda, and Seville by plane, train, bus, taxi, and foot, I do NOT want to drag giant suitcases across cobblestone streets looking like an overwhelmed tourist.

So lately I've been treating YouTube like a college course.

Carry-on-only travelers.
Capsule wardrobes.
The 5-4-3-2-1 packing method.
Packing cubes & Laundry strategies.
People using Canva to plan outfits before they even leave home.

Some of these people are brilliant. What I'm learning is that experienced travelers don't pack for every imaginary scenario. They pack for reality.

A few versatile outfits.
Comfortable shoes.
Layers.
A plan to do laundry.

That's it. The longer the trip, the less I actually want to bring.

So now I'm researching bags, testing packing systems, planning outfits, and trying to figure out how to travel lighter and smarter while still looking somewhat European and not like the stereotypical "Ugly American" abroad. 😅

As I figure this all out, I'll definitely share what I end up choosing, packing, and learning along the way because I know I'm not the only person who's stared at a suitcase wondering how on earth people travel for weeks with only a carry-on.

So now I need to know...

What's the BEST travel packing tip you've ever learned?

🚨 Wintering Update: Only 5 Beds Remain 🚨

Every year, someone messages me in October or November asking if there are still spots available.

And every year, I have to tell them the same thing...

"Nope. We sold out."

So if you've been thinking about joining us for Wintering, consider this your friendly nudge to stop thinking and start deciding.

Wintering isn't about doing more during the busiest season of the year.

It's about stepping away from the endless holiday to-do lists, obligations, shopping, wrapping, cooking, and expectations for a few days and remembering that you matter too.

Some of our favorite Wintering traditions include matching pajamas, peppermint (spiked) hot chocolate piled high with whipped cream, wine with new friends, incredible homemade meals, long conversations, laughter, naps, and absolutely zero pressure to be productive.

Many of the women attending this year are returning guests, and several are joining us for the very first time. That's one of my favorite things about Wintering. You can arrive as strangers, and somehow leaves feeling like old friends.

Future You will be very grateful that Present You said yes.

I've decided to make my Spain trip in 2026 a little bigger. (For ME!)

Instead of flying in for our Andalucía retreat and heading straight home, I'm extending my stay to three weeks.

1️⃣ Week one will be spent in Málaga attending a Spanish language immersion program.

2️⃣ In week two, I'll meet our retreat guests at Málaga airport and begin our journey through Andalucía together.

3️⃣After the retreat ends, I'll continue on to Seville for another week of Spanish intensive and culture before heading home.

For those who don't know, I studied Spanish throughout high school and a fifth year in college. I learned the vocabulary, verb tenses, sentence structure, and grammar, but it's been over 20 years since I regularly used it.

✈️ Travel has given me opportunities to practice along the way, most recently in the Galápagos, where I spent two weeks speaking Spanish with local staff and guides. By the end of the trip, I could feel pieces of the language coming back.

The problem is that when I return home, there's very little opportunity to keep practicing.

👉 This trip feels like a chance to change that.

One thing I've learned through leading retreats is that confidence comes from experience. Every airport, train station, bus route, and unfamiliar city teaches you something.

Switzerland especially showed me how comfortable navigating different transit systems can be once you've done it enough times.

Over the past five years of leading retreats, we've navigated ✈️, 🚂, 🚋, 🚌,🚡,🚢 and more. Technology, good planning, and traveling alongside others have made the entire process far more accessible than many people realize.

Travel doesn't just show you new places. It builds skills you can carry into the next adventure.

For now I'm enjoying brushing up on my Spanish, and getting excited for three weeks of learning, travel, and culture.

❓Have you ever traveled solo, learned a language abroad, or had a destination that challenged you to step outside your comfort zone? . . . I'd love to hear where you went—or where you'd still like to go someday⁉️

And if Spain has been calling your name, there are still a few spots available on our Andalucía retreat.

A retreat experience through my eyes and my friend Marie Frawley

Marie has attended every single Wintering Retreat since the very beginning.

If you know Marie, you know she's vibrant, funny, outgoing, and completely herself. When she arrived at that first retreat, I think she expected laughter, connection, maybe a little adventure, and plenty of activity.

Instead?

She slept. And slept. We are talking Rip Van Winkle sleep!

To this day, we joke that Marie slept for somewhere around 18 hours straight. The house carried on around her while she rested so deeply that nobody dared wake her.

At one point, I went upstairs because we were having lasagna for lunch, and I knew she'd want some. I gently woke her and whispered, "Marie, we're eating lunch. I saved you a piece of lasagna."

She shot upright in bed and declared:

"LASAGNA! I'M COMING DOWN!"

I still laugh every time I think about it.

The funny thing is that Marie came back the next year hoping to recreate that magical sleep-filled retreat, and it never happened. Every retreat has been different. Every experience has given her something new.

Since then, she's attended each Wintering Retreat, joined us in the Galápagos, and is already booked for Greece in 2027.

I think that's one of the beautiful truths about retreats.

You never really get the retreat you expect.

You get the retreat you need.

And sometimes what you need most is 18 hours of sleep and a piece of lasagna. 🤣

has space for you to join!

This retreat is shaping up to be one of the
most immersive cultural experiences we’ve offered.

This is warm & friendly southern Spain in the fall:
wine, tapas, siestas, mountain villages, flamenco, sunshine, random dancing in the streets, slow mornings, and a rhythm of life completely different from the constant “go-go-go” many of us live in at home.

We’ll spend the week exploring Andalucía alongside our local Spanish guide, experiencing the region through a local lens instead of just passing though as tourists.

Cities & Highlights include:
• Zahara de la Sierra with Olive oil farm tour & tasting experiences
• Setenil de las Bodegas built into the cliffsides w/ hosted wine tasting
• Ronda famous for bullfighting traditions, charming streets & a flamenco event
• Exclusive-use Spanish villas in Sierra de Grazalema National Park
• Hiking trails, gardens, mountain views, and personal swimming pools

This retreat is really about shifting your nervous system from performance mode back into presence, connection, warmth, rest, and joy.
