Did you know? Since its formation, Haugan Cruises has commissioned 7 yachts for the Galapagos Islands.

Of those 7, our co-founder Jessica Meza has been involved in designing the interior of 6. For anyone who has ever stepped on one of those yachts, you know that no detail has been missed.

What will be missed is Ms Jessica Meza, who today announces that she will be stepping down as CEO and partner of Haugan Cruises.

Coming from a background in tourism, Jessica has traveled to 48 countries and used her experience as inspiration for Haugan Cruises, and contributing into building them from the ground up into transcendental experiences you’ll never forget.

Today, Jessica is moving on to new challenges abroad, we wish her fair winds in her new ventures! Without her we would have never weathered that storm that was Covid-19.

Taking her place is our other co-founder and general manager Kjetil Haugan. He makes his return as the head of Haugan Cruises.

We have no doubt that he will be able to build on the success Haugan Cruises is known for.

It hasn’t been the easiest couple of years, but we thank you Jessica for all your hard work, dedication, and love for Haugan Cruises.

An endanger species is coming back to the Galapagos Islands!

The last time anyone recorded a sighting of the WONDERLUST HOMOSAPIENS ADVENTUROUS was almost 18 months ago, after which, it was assumed to have become extinct.
🤦

Then, in April 2021, a team of researchers and tourist guides reported that this "fun, curious and happy looking creatures" were alive and well and was spotted thriving in the extraordinary Galapagos Islands.

Also known as "Tourists", this brave homosapiens, with its distinctive backpack, are once again exploring the world.
