Travel smarter: timing at the airport ✈️

A smooth journey often starts before you even board the aircraft. With a bit of planning, you can reduce stress and make your airport experience more comfortable.

Here are a few simple tips to keep in mind 👇

Arrival time
We recommend arriving at the airport around 2 hours before departure. During peak travel periods, it’s worth allowing extra time to stay on the safe side.

Check-in & luggage
If you’re traveling with hand luggage only, you can go straight to security.
With checked baggage, plan additional time for bag drop queues.
Online check-in can help speed things up.

Security checks
Waiting times can vary depending on the time of day.
At many airports in Germany, you can book a security time slot in advance, helping you plan your arrival more precisely.

Boarding time
Boarding starts well before departure.
We recommend being at the gate 30–40 minutes before your flight, as gates close ahead of take-off.

Traveling with family
If you’re traveling with children, allow extra time for breaks, snacks, and unexpected moments. A calm start makes the whole journey more comfortable.

Wings earned. A new journey begins. ✈️

Our 7th Initial Course has officially graduated and received their Marabu wings. After weeks of intensive training covering safety procedures, service standards and life onboard our A320neo fleet, our newest Cabin Crew members are now ready to take to the skies.

Initial training is demanding and requires focus, teamwork and determination — and this group successfully rose to the challenge every step of the way.

We are proud to welcome them to the Marabu family and look forward to seeing them onboard, creating memorable experiences for our passengers across our growing network.
