We turned another oversized cargo into a standard-size shipment. This time, a metal sheet was too wide by just 2 cm along the body of the Eurotent trailer.

To solve the problem, we created a custom metal frame to position the sheet at an angle.

Original size of the sheet: 8000x2500x30 mm
After securing on the frame: width was reduced to 2450 mm, which is within the acceptable limits for a standard tautliner.

C-ONE Visit System for Muuga Port Container Terminal

On August 29, 2018, the Transiidikeskuse AS container terminal updated the design and functionality of its C-ONE portal for processing visits for freight vehicles. Since its launch, there have been questions about the portal, but all issues have been quickly resolved, and the system has continuously evolved and improved.

For instance, mobile device support has been added for visit processing, making the system much more convenient for users.

💼New Office of REARTEK

We are excited to announce the relocation of our company to a new office located in the Viimsi municipality, right on the coast of the Gulf of Finland. There were several reasons behind this move:

✔️The office is closer to the port – just a 15-minute drive to the main gates.
✔️The location is logistically more convenient – drivers can now come to pick up documents 24/7.
✔️Unlimited free parking spaces available (including for cargo transport).
✔️The larger office space (68m³) allows for the addition of more workstations.
✔️The well-developed infrastructure of the area and proximity to the sea (just 10 minutes on foot).
✔️As always, we are happy to welcome our clients and partners to visit us at our new office!

Scrap metal is a very specific cargo when it comes to transportation. From non-standard loading and unloading to the risks of damaging transport and trailers, as well as the generally negative reputation this type of cargo has in the logistics and foreign trade industries, transporting scrap metal requires special attention.

For three years, we've been handling scrap metal exports via the Paldiski port in Estonia. The volume of shipments on this route continues to grow, and we plan to expand our operations to include the ports of Riga and Klaipeda.
