AV Safety now has the following vacancy in its TALLINN Service Team:

Current vacant position: Service Engineer

This position requires a person with experience as a Marine Engineer or similar. Specialized training will be given in wide range of LSA and FSS. Based in our Tallinn office, the job itself will be primarily offsite, onboard ships, both locally and worldwide. Due to the nature of the job, applicants will need to be physically and medically fit and prepared to travel away from home for periods of time. Applicants must have a driving licence, as the job will include use of the company service vehicles.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
– Servicing the marine life-saving and fire-fighting equipment, both on and off site in marine environment
– Preparation of Service Reports and expense claims
– Identification of additional work or material requirements during debriefing sessions
– Ensuring that materials are available prior to the commencement of the job
– Assistance with workshop related activities and on-site product refurbishment
– Responsibility for the maintenance of your work area and tools
– Providing technical experience and information
– Availability to work in any location at all times
– Contribute in ensuring a safe working environment

QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications associated with job description. Five to ten years work experience in related industry or equivalent
