We're Hiring | Sea Freight Operations Executive
E.A Logistics is looking for an experienced and motivated Sea Freight Operations Executive to join our growing team in Alexandria.
📍 Location: Alexandria, Egypt
🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle end-to-end sea freight operations for import and export shipments.
• Coordinate bookings with shipping lines, carriers, co-loaders, and overseas agents.
• Monitor vessel schedules, cargo movements, and shipment milestones.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation including Bills of Lading, Shipping Instructions, and Manifests.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, transport providers, warehouses, and customers to ensure smooth cargo movement.
• Submit VGM and ensure compliance with shipping line requirements.
• Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Resolve operational issues, shipment delays, and documentation discrepancies.
• Verify operational costs and supplier invoices.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and system updates.
Requirements:
✔ Male.
✔ Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
✔ Minimum 2 years of experience in Sea Freight Forwarding or Logistics Operations.
✔ Strong knowledge of FCL, LCL, and Cross-Trade shipments.
✔ Good understanding of Incoterms, shipping documentation, and international trade procedures.
✔ Experience working with shipping lines, NVOCCs, customs brokers, and overseas agents.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
✔ Good command of written and spoken English.
✔ Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
