Yesterday third of Oct 2026, marked an important milestone with the trial move of the first train from Alexandria Port Tourist Rail Station ( operated by Ocean Express Shipping Co. ) to Bashteel Railway Station in Giza. This initiative aims to provide cruise passengers with a safe & efficient one-day trip to explore the iconic Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, then returning back to their cruise ship. This successful trial highlights the important role of Egyptian National Railway infrastructure and demonstrates how collaboration between Ocean Express Shipping, Rhapsody Travel, Alexandria Port Authority, and Egyptian National Railway can transform National assets into a valuable tourism opportunity.
Together, we are building connections, creating opportunities, and enhancing Egypt's position as world-class tourism destination.
