We’re Hiring | Logistics Specialist (Shipping Agency)
We are a Shipping Agency seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to join our operations team and support daily maritime and port activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate vessel operations with ports, terminals, and authorities.
Handle port clearance, vessel documentation, and agency formalities.
Communicate with shipping lines, vessel masters, and operators.
Arrange and monitor cargo operations, berthing, and sailing schedules.
Liaise with customs, port authorities, and service providers.
Prepare daily vessel updates and operational reports.
Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and local port procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
Proven experience in a shipping agency or maritime logistics is required.
Strong knowledge of port operations, vessel handling, and shipping documentation.
Familiarity with customs clearance and port formalities.
Good command of English (written & spoken).
Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle time-critical operations.
