• CEO of the World Travel & Tourism Council Visits the Giza Pyramids
The Giza Pyramids welcomed Ms. Gloria Guevara, CEO of the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), and her son. Ms. Guevara was keen to visit the archaeological site before departing Egypt following the conclusion of the WTTC's international event hosted by Egypt.
She was received by Mr. Ashraf Mohi El-Din, Director General of Giza Antiquities, who accompanied her on a tour of the site. The tour included a visit to the Great Pyramid, both inside and out, where she received a detailed explanation of the history of the archaeological area and its cultural treasures. She also learned about the secrets behind the construction of the pyramids, which continue to amaze the world today.
During the tour, she was also briefed on the development and improvement projects undertaken at the site to enhance visitor services and preserve the site's cultural and archaeological character.
Mrs. Gloria Guevara and her son were keen to take commemorative photos in front of the entrance to the Great Pyramid, immortalizing this special visit and the exceptional moments they experienced within one of the world's most prominent archaeological and tourist sites.
Mrs. Gloria Guevara also expressed her great admiration for the grandeur of ancient Egyptian civilization and for the efforts being made to develop tourist services in the Giza Pyramids area, which enhances Egypt's position as a leading global tourist destination.
