DB Schenker is the world’s leading global logistics provider — we support industry and trade in the global exchange of goods through land transport, worldwide air and ocean freight, contract logistics and supply chain management.

In 2009, when the world was still recovering from a global financial crisis, Schenker took a brave step to set up an office in Egypt with a team of 50 people. Through 2 years of hardship, the organization turned the corners, getting many global customers on board who were already well established in the local market.

A strong foundation, stable operations and the trust of the customers and partners helped Schenker to hold and sustain a leading position in the Egyptian local market. Over the past decade the firm has been managing and handling the most complex logistics operations; mega power and renewal energy plants being one of the highlights.

Schenker Egypt has grown by leaps and bounds from a team of 50 people to over 200 professional logisticians and over 300 well trained outsourced staff. The organization prides itself on having 4 state-of-the-art offices and more than 40,000 sqm of logistics and distribution centers covering Cairo and all major ports and industrial cities in Egypt.
