“O writer of history… do not close your book yet, for still has many glorious chapters to write.” 🇪🇬✨
As an Egyptian tour guide, I spend my days telling the world about the greatness of Ancient Egypt—its kings, temples, and timeless civilization. But I’ve always believed that our pride should never be limited to the past. Every generation has the opportunity to write a new chapter in Egypt’s story.
Today, we celebrate another historic achievement by the Egyptian National Team. For the first time in history, Egypt has reached the Round of 16 at the FIFA World Cup—a milestone achieved through the passion, determination, and talent of our own Egyptian players, many of whom are experiencing their first major international tournament.
I am incredibly proud of every player who represented Egypt with honor, especially:
🇪🇬 Mohamed Salah – Our captain, leader, and one of the greatest footballers Africa has ever produced, inspiring millions on and off the pitch.
🧤 Mostafa Shobeir – A calm and confident goalkeeper whose performances have shown maturity beyond his years.
⚽ Emam Ashour – A fearless midfielder whose energy, determination, and fighting spirit never stop.
🎯 Mahmoud Saber – Making his senior national team debut, Mahmoud Saber introduced himself to the world in the most unforgettable way, scoring a stunning goal at the FIFA World Cup. A gifted midfielder blessed with creativity, vision, and exceptional technical ability.
⚡ Mostafa Ziko – One of the biggest surprises and brightest additions to Egypt’s squad, Mostafa Ziko was a special gift from the national team’s head coach to the Egyptian fans, earning his first-ever call-up and quickly proving why he deserved the opportunity. His pace, skill, and confidence have made him one of Egypt’s most exciting stars.
🌟 Hamza Abdel Karim – The youngest player in the Egyptian national team and one of the youngest players at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Hamza represents the bright future of Egyptian football. Despite his age, he has shown remarkable passion, confidence, and ambition on the biggest stage.
I am equally proud of the leadership of our national team, especially Hossam Hassan and Ibrahim Hassan, whose belief, experience, and dedication have guided this team to a historic achievement.
As Egyptians, we are fortunate to inherit one of the greatest civilizations in history. But our pride doesn’t stop at the monuments our ancestors built—it continues with every Egyptian who raises our flag through talent, hard work, and achievement.
To the writer of history… don’t close the book yet. Egypt still has many chapters left to write. 🇪🇬📖
And this is only the beginning. We look forward to many more achievements—not only in football, but in science, culture, sports, and every field where Egyptians continue to make their country proud. Egypt’s story is still being written. ❤️🇪🇬
