A little reminder if you’ve found yourself scrolling Instagram thinking…

“How does she do it all?” 🤍

The holidays. The business. The beautiful tidy house despite having kids. The school runs. Never forgetting anything for school! Juggling everything so perfectly!

And meanwhile you’re just trying to get everyone dressed, fed and out the door on time so you’re not late to your 9am meeting 😂

I’ve definitely been guilty of comparing myself to other mums online.

But the truth is, we’re seeing snippets of someone else’s life and not the whole story.

My version of success doesn’t have to look like someone else’s.

For me, it’s building something of my own alongside my corporate 9–5, being there for my girls, creating more flexibility and hopefully having more choices for our future.

Some days it looks productive.

Most days it looks like survival 🫠

And both are okay. 🤍

Stop comparing your behind-the-scenes to someone else’s highlight reel.

I genuinely want to know…

How many mums were told to get a good career, work hard, build a secure future…

Only to realise that what they actually want is more time with their kids, more freedom and more life?

Because maybe success doesn’t look like climbing the career ladder forever.

Maybe it looks like school runs without rushing.
More family holidays.
Being present for the little things.
And having the freedom to decide what your days actually look like.

I want to be surrounded by people who celebrate each other, back each other and genuinely want to see each other win.

Because their success doesn’t take anything away from mine.

There’s room for ALL of us.

Your win doesn’t make my win smaller.
Your growth doesn’t stop my growth.
Your opportunity doesn’t steal mine.

In fact?

I’d rather be surrounded by people who are winning than people who want everyone else to stay small.
