I hate to break it to you, but that was just the warm-up. 😂

The REAL investment is when your little lap infant turns TWO…

…and suddenly you’re paying for an actual seat everywhere you go. ✈️😂

Flights. Trains. Hotels. Days out.

Apparently, turning two is when your child officially becomes a financial dependent. 😂

Anyone else get hit with the “wait… you have to PAY for them now?!” moment?

Reasons a family holiday actually SAVES us in more ways than one… ✈️❤️

People often look at the price of a holiday… but they don’t always see what it saves.

It saves the endless food shops.
It saves the daily “What’s for tea, Mum?” conversations.
It saves the constant tidying, cleaning and never-ending jobs around the house.
It saves the mental load of planning how to keep the kids entertained every single day.

And most importantly… it gives us something that’s hard to put a price on.

✨ Time together.
✨ Memories we’ll talk about for years.
✨ A chance to switch off from the routine and just enjoy being a family.

For me, that’s worth every penny.

The biggest financial risk isn’t having one income…

It’s believing that one income is guaranteed.

I’ve seen people who thought their job was secure…

Until they were made redundant.

Not because they weren’t good at what they did.
Not because they did anything wrong.

Sometimes companies change.
Budgets get cut.
Departments close.

And it all happens faster than anyone expects.

That’s one of the reasons I started building an additional income stream.

Not because I hated my job.

Not because I wanted to get rich overnight.

But because I wanted options.

A second income doesn’t have to replace your first.

Sometimes it simply gives you breathing room if life throws you a curveball.

For me, it was never about chasing money.

It was about creating security that wasn’t dependent on one employer.

Decisions create freedom.

Watching them grow is the greatest privilege… but nobody warns you about the wild scenarios your mum brain creates. 😂

One minute they’re holding your hand, the next you’re imagining them announcing they’re off to Love Island. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

Please tell me I’m not the only one who creates completely fictional future problems. 😅

Here’s the reason I’d choose an evening flight again… ✈️😴

My two year old fell asleep before take-off… and didn’t wake up once during the whole flight.

I actually had to wake her up when we landed so we could collect our cases and get through passport control!

Then, as soon as we left the airport car park… she was fast asleep again for the journey home. 😂💕

Sometimes the little travel wins are the biggest ones. 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Don’t get me wrong, evening flights aren’t for everyone… but with this little one, I’d book one again in a heartbeat. ❤️
