The new Marina Vela by the W Hotel will be completed this summer and our charter yachts Leigh and Dandy were the first boats to ever be moored there. The marina owners had to show the progress to some investors and asked us to bring our yachts to get a feel of what it will look like once it is finished. Looking forward to seeing the final result!

Horrible news today with up to 9 yachts up in flames and sunk in Port Forum including one 72-foot Astondoa we had recently listed for sale. Only one person sent to the hospital by inhaling smoke but no casualties. The cause in unknown but yachts are very flammable and electrical issues are very often the reason. Batteries should be replaced on a regular basis and battery chargers checked!
It will take a while to clean up this mess.
