From Málaga to Prague, Bristol to Barcelona… 🌍✨

I first met Corina in Málaga.

She doesn’t speak much English, and I don’t speak much Spanish… but that didn’t stop us becoming friends. ❤️

Because sometimes, you don’t need to speak the same language to connect.

A smile. A laugh. A hug. A shared adventure.

And what started in Málaga continued through Prague, Bristol and Barcelona.

Different destinations. Different occasions.
Same friendship. 🥰

One of the things I love most about travel is that it doesn’t just take you to beautiful places.

It introduces you to people you might never otherwise have met. 🌍

And sometimes, those people become part of your journey.

Here’s to the next destination, the next adventure and the next friendship waiting to be made. ✈️💜

Okay, I have to admit, I’m a little bit old school when it comes to travelling. 😂

I print EVERYTHING!

This red folder has everything I need for my trip, all organised and in order.

🚗 Car parking
✈️ Flights
🚕 Taxi details
🏨 Hotel information
🛡️ Travel insurance

Everything goes in the folder so I know exactly where to find it when I need it.

And then there’s my travel pillow! 😂 It has a hood, which is perfect for me because planes can be so cold. Keeping my face warm helps when the cold increases my Bell’s palsy pain.

I know we have everything on our phones these days, but I still love having my important information printed and organised. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can find what I need without searching through emails or relying on my phone.

So yes, I probably print more than I actually need… but it works for me! 😂

Sometimes the biggest thing travel gives us isn’t a destination. It’s the people we meet along the way. 🌍💜

One of the things I love most about being part of this community is the friendships and connections that have come from it.

People from different places, different backgrounds and different walks of life, all brought together by a love of travel and a desire to create more from life.

That’s what being a Dragonfly means to me.

We support each other, learn from each other, celebrate each other and, most importantly, nobody has to build alone. ❤️

Travel may be what brings many of us together, but the relationships are what make the journey so special.

☕️🍫 Now this is what I call liquid gold! 😋

There’s something about a rich, warm chocolate drink that just hits the spot. Sometimes when you’re travelling, it’s the simple food and drink experiences that become part of the memories you bring home.

And this one was definitely a little moment of indulgence. Mmmmm! 😂❤️

Food is such a lovely part of travelling because you never know what little treats you’re going to discover along the way.

Malaysia gave me something that money simply can’t buy, extra time with my daughter. ❤️

When Sophia spent a year studying in Malaysia, I used an incentive trip I had earned through my membership to go and spend ten wonderful days with her.

We explored local markets, wandered through the colourful shopping districts, enjoyed a relaxing spa day, visited Orang Utan Island and even tried a Malaysian cooking class.

And of course, I had to try durian! 😂

I definitely fall into the “hate it” category, but at least I can say I tried it!

What I remember most about Malaysia isn’t the hotel or even the incentive trip itself. It’s the time I got to spend with Sophia, experiencing a little of her life while she was living and studying on the other side of the world.

Those are the travel memories that stay with you. ❤️
