What happens when American burgers meet Japanese street food? 👀

📍 MECHA, Barcelona

This is not the place to come for a classic burger.

One of their most unusual creations is a burger inspired by ramen. Instead of a traditional beef patty, they use slow-cooked pork chashu prepared with soy sauce, ginger, sake and a touch of sweetness. Then it’s pressed, seared, topped with teriyaki sauce, cheese and pickles, and served in a burger bun.

Sounds strange.

Tastes surprisingly addictive.

But the real star for many people is the smash burger. The meat is pressed directly onto a scorching hot grill, creating a deeply caramelized crust and an intense flavor that’s completely different from a regular burger.

Add Japanese fried chicken, sake, natural wines and a small, almost hidden atmosphere, and you get one of the most interesting burger spots in Barcelona.

💰 Average check: around 15–25€ per person.

Most people walk past these buildings without ever realizing what’s hidden inside. 👀

📍 Casa Antoni Segarra
Carrer de Provença, 185

A quiet modernist gem in Eixample. Behind its elegant façade hides one of the most beautiful historic elevators in Barcelona.

📍 Casa de les Punxes
Avinguda Diagonal, 416–420

A building that looks more like a medieval castle than an apartment house. Its six pointed towers make it one of the most recognizable landmarks on Diagonal.

📍 Casa Sayrach
Avinguda Diagonal, 423

One of the last great modernist buildings in Barcelona. The interior was inspired by the sea, with curved lines and flowing forms that feel almost alive.

The most surprising thing? These are ordinary residential entrances from the Modernisme era.

Anyone can step inside and briefly travel back in time.

Just remember to be respectful and keep your voice down — people still live and work here. And honestly, places like these don’t need loud reactions. The sense of wonder they create is usually a quiet one.

Barcelona before tourists. 👀

Arc de Triomf, Plaça Reial and the Columbus Monument looked completely different back then.

The same city — but a completely different atmosphere.

Did you know that someone still lives inside one of Gaudí’s most famous buildings? 👀

Most people think places like La Pedrera became museums a long time ago.

But one apartment inside Casa Milà is still occupied by a woman who has lived there since the 1980s under an old rental contract.

Imagine opening your window every morning while thousands of tourists photograph the building outside.

For most visitors, it’s one of the most famous landmarks in Barcelona.

For her, it’s simply home.

✨ Magic Fountain of Montjuïc ✨

One of the most beautiful evening spots in Barcelona 🌃

The Magic Fountain of Montjuïc is a spectacular combination of lights, music, and massive water shows right below the MNAC museum. Built for the 1929 International Exposition, it remains one of the city’s most iconic free attractions.

📍 Plaça de Carles Buïgas, Montjuïc

🕘 Show schedule:
• From April 1 to May 31
• Thursday, Friday & Saturday
• From 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM

🎶 Music & light shows:
9:00 PM and 9:30 PM

🚇 How to get there:
• Metro: L1 or L3 to Espanya station
• FGC: Espanya station
• Bus Turístic: Plaça d’Espanya or CaixaForum – Mies van der Rohe stop
• Easy to reach by bike as well 🚲

💡 The best view is from the MNAC stairs, especially after sunset when you can overlook the entire Plaça d’Espanya.

If you’re in Barcelona at night, this is definitely something you should experience at least once ✨

Did you know that one of the oldest flea markets in Europe is in Barcelona? 👀

📍 Mercat dels Encants (Glòries)

This market has existed for centuries, and today you can still find almost anything there:
old vinyls, vintage furniture, cameras, books, strange antiques and completely random objects with unknown stories.

But people don’t come here only to shop.

They come for the atmosphere.

Noise, chaos, negotiations, hidden treasures and the feeling that every corner has its own story.

One of the most unusual places in Barcelona to simply walk around and observe the city.

⚠️ And it’s very important to keep an eye on your pockets and belongings — this market is unfortunately known for a high number of pickpocketing incidents.

“Enter at your own risk”… because leaving without buying anything is almost impossible 👀

Which is actually the main cathedral of Barcelona? 👀Sagrada Familia or Santa Eulàlia?

Большинство туристов автоматически отвечают: Саграда Фамилия.

Но настоящий кафедральный собор Барселоны — это Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulàlia,

🍦 DelaCrem

If a place in Barcelona always has a huge line — there’s usually a reason.

At DelaCrem, gelato is made fresh every day by hand using natural ingredients and seasonal products.
No bright artificial colors — just real flavor and a creamy Italian-style texture.

And yes, there’s almost always a queue.
But most people agree it’s worth it 🍨
