Otra preciosa excursión, esta vez al monte Igorin, cercano a San Sebastián en cuyo recorrido pudimos descubrir numerosos monumentos megalíticos y disfrutar de la compañía de unos simpatiquísimos caballos.
Another beautiful excursion, this time to Igorin mountain, close to San Sebastian, where we were able to discover numerous megalithic monuments and enjoy the company of some very friendly horses.
Une autre belle excursion, cette fois à la montagne d'Igorin, près de Saint-Sébastien, où nous avons pu découvrir de nombreux monuments mégalithiques et profiter de la compagnie de quelques chevaux très sympathiques.

Our only wish for this Christmas is that we will leave the tunnel behind us in the New Year and
we will once again enjoy our hikes through mountains, valleys and nature.

The secrets of the forest in autumn:
Autumn is the best time of the year to pick mushrooms in nature and northern Spain is an ideal place for this because here we have many rain forests where many different species of mushrooms grow.
A few days ago, doing a hiking route in the Pyrenees of Huesca, we collected several specimens of Macrolepiota procera like this one. In spite of its appearance, its hat is an excellent and highly appreciated foodstuff. These mushrooms were the main course of a pleasant dinner with friends after a beautiful excursion in the mountain.

Los secretos del bosque en otoño:
El otoño es la mejor época del año para recoger setas en la naturaleza y el norte de España es un lugar ideal para ello porque aquí tenemos muchos bosques húmedos donde crecen muchas especies diferentes de setas.
Hace unos días, haciendo una ruta de senderismo en los Pirineos de Huesca, recogimos varios ejemplares de Macrolepiota procera como este. A pesar de su apariencia, su sombrero es un excelente y muy apreciado alimento. Estas setas fueron el plato principal de una agradable cena con amigos después de una bonita excursión por la montaña.

Viajes de Senderismo y Montaña totalmente seguros para poder disfrutar de la naturaleza en las próximas semanas: entornos rurales muy poco poblados, grupos muy reducidos, transporte en vehículos propios y todas las medidas de higiene y seguridad posibles contra el Covid-19.

At Walking North Spain we also organise tailor-made hiking trips. A good example is the fantastic guided trip we have just made to the Spanish Pyrenees with a group of French hikers. Everything went great and everyone enjoyed it a lot...thank you very much, guys!

Walking North Spain organise également des voyages de randonnée sur mesure. Un bon exemple est le fantastique voyage guidée que nous venons de faire dans les Pyrénées espagnoles avec un groupe de randonneurs français. Tout s'est très bien passé et tous les randonneurs ont beaucoup apprécié....merci beaucoup tout le monde!
