🇬🇧 The Orion Cloud Molecular Complex, or simply the Orion Complex, is a large group of bright nebulae, dark clouds, and young stars in the Orion constellation. The complex is located about 1500-1600 light-years away, and is about 240 light-years wide. One of its main characteristics is that it is a star-forming region. Some of the most important nebulae are: The Great Orion Nebula (M42), the Horsehead Nebula (IC 433), the Witch's Head Nebula (IC 2118) and the impressive Bernard's Loop..Photo taken with a astro-modified Sony A7III. Mosaic of 3 panels at 85mm of one hour (stacked) each.
🇪🇸 El Complejo molecular de la nube de Orión, o simplemente el Complejo de Orión, es un gran grupo de nebulosas brillantes, nubes oscuras y estrellas jóvenes en la constelación de Orión. El complejo se situa a unos a 1500-1600 años luz de distancia, y tiene una amplitud de unos 240 años luz. Una de sus características principales es que se trata de una región de formación de estrellas. Algunas de las nebulosas más importantes son: La Gran Nebulosa de Orión (M42), la nebulosa cabeza de caballo (IC 433), la nebulosa cabeza de bruja (IC 2118) y el impresionante Bucle de Bernard..Fotografía realizada con una Sony A7III astro-modificada. The Chapel of Nosa Señora do Porto, also known as Nosa Señora do Mar or Virxe do Porto, is located in the parish of Meirás, very close to A Frouxeira beach. It is built on a small rocky island that can only be accessed on foot at low tide.
The chapel is located in an enclave with a unique charm. In winter, with strong waves and harsh weather conditions, it becomes a landscape worthy of admiration. From here we can also see the Punta Frouxeira lighthouse, the second most modern in Galicia and also, very close by we find the Natural Area of A Lagoa and Areal de Valdoviño, which form the beach, the lagoon and the marshes of Frouxeira.
The photograph is an extreme HDR panoramic view of 150 photos for a total of 30 pannels in 3 rows of 10. It was made with a .espana A7III and a 14-24mm.

At Punta Nariga (Barizo) stands the most modern and photogenic lighthouse in Galicia, built in 1995 and designed by César Portela. With 50 meters high and 22 miles of light range, it is a benchmark in the integration of architecture with the natural landscape.
The environment is full of magic on this cliff battered by the sea and with curious rock formations. The cape-lighthouse-sea sequence is paradigmatic and mutant with the different times of the year and the hours of the day.

Nestled on the top of the hill of the same name, this castle dominates with its imposing presence all the surrounding territories. Of Arab origin, and rebuilt in the 12th century by the Lusitanian monarch Alfonso Enríquez, it was later consolidated by the Templars, becoming one of the most important bastions of this Order.

After several unsuccessful attempts to photograph this castle, we were finally able to take long-awaited photography on an impromptu outing. Without too many possibilities to compose and with quite complex light pollution conditions, I have finally been able to achieve a satisfactory result.

Under the arch of our galaxy, the Milky Way, gazing at the stars since the 15th century, is the castle of "Salvatierra de lo Barros". A highly coveted fortification and fought during its heyday due to its dimensions, more typical of a citadel than a castle.

Surely you have already seen this castle before in my profile, but given its majesty and its proximity to where I live, I could not miss the opportunity to photograph it again, thus opening the season and new equipment for astro.

I would have liked to start the season with a different type photography, but due to local restrictions and the annoying curfew it is almost impossible for us to go out and photograph it, at least for now. So since it is impossible to go out and photograph our galaxy, let it be our imagination that takes us to those dream places.

In the Portuguese parish of Santa María de Marvão, within the natural park of the Sierra de San Mamede, the “Castelo de Marvão” stands on the northern slope of the same and in a dominant position over the town.
Once controlling the passage over the River Sever, it was also an effective place of refuge and an extraordinary point of observation and surveillance of the Spanish border.

Spectacular, one of the five towers of the Templar city of Jerez de los Caballeros stands out from the fog with a height of 64 meters. The tower of the Church of Saint Miguel Archangel built between 1749 and 1756 by Juan Alfonso de Ladera.

Vestrahorn, on the Stokksnes peninsula in Iceland, has dramatic peaks reaching up to 454 meters (1490 ft). It rises out of a flat, black sand beach and dominates the view whilst a gentle clear lagoon laps at the shore.
