Since our founding in April 2001, GroupEAD has been driven by a clear purpose: providing centralized European AIS Database services on behalf of EUROCONTROL. What started as an idea evolved into much more — over the years, GroupEAD established itself as a leading EAD and AIM Training Academy, as well as a trusted consultant in AIM/AIS across Europe and worldwide.
• 8,200+ days of continuous EAD operations
• 1,700+ training courses delivered
• 10,700+ students trained
• 24 countries supported through AIM consulting
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our customers, clients, and partners. Your trust, feedback, and loyalty enabled us to grow, learn, and continuously improve — for that, we are truly thankful.
We also extend our sincere thanks to our shareholders — ENAIRE, Frequentis, and DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung — for their ongoing cooperation and support. Your belief in our vision made this journey possible.
As this chapter comes to a close, marked by the successful handover of the European AIS Database operational services to EUROCONTROL on January 16, 2026, we reflect with pride and gratitude on 25 successful years of GroupEAD. We thank EUROCONTROL for successful collaboration all the years.
While the chapter ends, the relationships, lessons, and achievements will endure. We move forward with deep respect for everyone who contributed to making GroupEAD what it was.
