😅Many visitors to Spain stress about if they should make restaurant reservations.

There are some restaurants & even some seasons/times when reservations are warranted, but it varies widely.

But if you are comfortable being spontaneous as you explore your destination, and maybe visiting local, more traditional establishments, you typically won’t need to make reservations. There are always a few exceptions to this, of course, so no need to come at me 😉

In January of this year, I underwent a (preventative!) double mastectomy. I carry genetic markers that make me very high risk for cancer (specifically breast cancer). I am incredibly lucky to have had the choice to do it, before the choice was made for me ❤️ I opted to not do any reconstruction and continue to be pleasantly surprised by how liberated I feel now. 😅

This week I had a follow up surgery to do some simple revisions for better symmetry 👏🏼 I am resting and recovering. I should be back to posting and responding this week 😅

It’s entirely up to you as you travel in Spain, but I do recommend buying your train tickets in advance—especially if you need to travel at specific times on specific days and want to be sure you’re sitting with your travel party…

Try not to feel too frustrated by the unexpected cultural variations you’re likely to encounter during your trip to Spain. Remember, Spain isn’t “doing it wrong” 🤗

This decision is deeply personal, but if you’re wondering if you should (or could) take your kids to Spain, I am happy to tell you that Spain is an IDEAL destination for families.

Spain is so much more than (RIDICULOUSLY GOOD) w**e and b**r, so don’t sleep on all the other authentic and unique beverages that you can try while traveling! 🍷🍸🍺

Definitely save this for future travels in Spain and be sure your friends don’t miss out, either!💃🏻

🍽️ If you’re going to eat while you are visiting Spain, you’ll need to know how to properly (and respectfully!) get the waiters attention. You’ll definitely want to eat so…💃🏻

🍽️The service industry is different than in the U.S., knowing ahead of time will make a huge difference in your experience!
