This is how we feel about it already being time to book Amsterdam for tulip season! 🌷

This year we got to explore the Dutch countryside in a retro VW van, had lunch in a greenhouse, wandered through tulip farms and sipped tulip vodka cocktails surrounded by flowers. It was one of the best days we’ve ever had on vacation!

The Sklars explored Iceland on a self drive road trip that let them set the pace, with a new adventure waiting at every stop! One day they were cruising among icebergs before exploring a glacier on foot, and the next they were riding ATVs across black volcanic sand to a plane wreck.

Along the drive there were waterfalls to explore (including one they could walk behind!) and a lunch stop among tomato plants inside a greenhouse. Even when it was time to slow down, they had glacier views to take in from their hotel 🧊

We loved helping bring this trip together and reading these kind words afterward. Some places make you want to sit back and admire the view. Iceland definitely makes you want to get out and explore it! 🇮🇸

They explored iconic landmarks by tuk-tuk, tasted local favorites and Portuguese wines on food tours, and even took a day trip to Sintra & Cascais 🏰

“Our trip to Italy was something we had been looking forward to as a family for a long time, and it truly exceeded our expectations. With our kids getting older, we really wanted to take a special trip together and create memories that we would all carry with us!

There were so many highlights. We absolutely loved the pasta-making experience, touring Rome by golf cart, truffle hunting in Tuscany, and boating along the beautiful coast of Sicily. Each experience was so different and gave us such a wonderful way to see and experience Italy. Some of our favorite memories are simply the time we spent together as a family, laughing, exploring, eating incredible food, and experiencing places we had always wanted to see.

Working with the Jay Cole Travel team made the entire trip feel effortless. Everything was thoughtfully planned and organized, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our time together without worrying about the details. The itinerary was the perfect combination of sightseeing, unique experiences, and time to enjoy Italy at our own pace.

We came home with incredible memories and so many stories that we will be talking about for years. It was truly an unforgettable family trip, and we are so grateful to Jay Cole Travel for helping make it so special! -The Middletons ✨

“AMAZING! Didnt want to come home. Started a text to you so many times and then stopped… So happy we did the one island. Having the car was perfect. Loved the flexibility it gave us. Parking at hotel was seamless and not too expensive per day. We loved the hotel; the service was fantastic! They were incredibly helpful with reservations for dinner and excursions and just so friendly and nice. Everyone from the porters to the bartenders and front desk… absolutely lovely. They have a great rooftop bar/pool area that was nice for a quick bite and drinks and hang. The room was perfect for the three of us. We really were t in it much. The location was perfect. Walk to town and close enough to the airport. I have so many wonderful recommendations from our adventures. We saw the whole island. Could have even had an extra day to finish it off. Overnight flight there was a great suggestion and late flight home perfect. Gave us the opp. To have five full days to do stuff. It a gorgeous island!”

I just had one of the best days I’ve ever had on a vacation.. for research purposes of course😉🌷

One day in the Dutch countryside included lunch in a beautiful greenhouse, visiting a historic windmill, walking a gorgeous beach, wandering through tulip farms, feeding alpacas on a countryside farm, and sipping a tulip vodka cocktail surrounded by flowers… all while riding around in a retro 70s Volkswagen van. 🌷 🚐 🐑

It felt straight out of a movie.
