The Bedford TM 6x6 stands as a robust truck, offering a range of capabilities.
In its fundamental configuration, the TM 6x6 serves as a cargo vehicle, capable of transporting standard NATO pallets and general cargo. Both vehicles can be equipped with self-loading hydraulic cranes positioned behind the cab, and they have the capacity to carry standard shelters or workshop bodies.
The addition of drop sides and a tailgate transforms these vehicles into versatile general load carriers. While personnel seating can be accommodated, these heavy-duty trucks are primarily employed in transporting NATO standard pallets, containers, or fuel.
NB: The TM 6x6 has a body length of approximately 21ft and can optionally be supplied and fitted with twist locks for carrying 20ft containers. Refer to the attached photos for a view of the trailer, which comes at an additional cost.
Bedford TM 6x6 Cargo Truck with Canopy: Recently retrieved from dry storage, this truck is in excellent condition with only 11,000 kilometres. It features drop cargo sides, a canopy, and 20ft twist locks for carrying shipping containers. Other specifications include diff locks, a spare wheel, a manual ZF gearbox, leaf spring suspension, and a hydraulic tilt cab.
