A Seakeeper Gyro system. This is designed to stabilise boats up to around 80 foot when at anchor.

It works by spinning at 8000 RPM, cleaver!

But as usual, like everything else on a boat.... It stopped working and over heated.

Because the raw water pump hidden deep within the boat died. This was discovered after further diagnosis.

Another beautiful Contest, this boat had a superb layout down below. And was taken out the water for some emergency bow truster repairs.

Sunseeker 64 - Cooling pump failed for the hydraulic thruster system.

The pump was striped down and rebuilt..... The result was one happy customer with thrusters that no longer over heated.

Dampener plate replacement on a beautiful Contest 72cs.

The dampener plate, sits in the bell housing behind the transmission box. Had to remove the Aqua drive, then remove the transmission box, then the bell housing for access.

New plate went in fine and the problem is now resolved.

It's been a busy few weeks, now the season is finally underway.

From rewiring and reinstalling a dashboard, to rebuilding blown generators.

With some big jobs booked ahead, such as replacing dampener plates in the gearbox bell housing. Installing new wine coolers, and several engine servicing jobs.

Moody 64, was requested to rebuild the companion way after it was ripped out so she could have her new fuel tanks fitted.

Also completing a long list of other general jobs.

- installed new fuel tank sender and wired/calibrated it to state of the art control panel.
- tighten loose deck cleats.

Emergency call out for a 29 meter super yacht at the Palma International boat show.

The Cummings port engine was over heating, with a reduced flow of water exiting the exhaust.

Upon investigation, the raw water cooling impeller with stuck and there was leaks in the piping from the sea chest. Everything was replaced and the boat is running smoothly.

Installing an upgraded raymarine e120 chart plotter.

Required dash cutting to size, and a new GPS antenna spliced onto the NEMA 0183 connection.
