"Blood rain" (lluvia de sangre) in Spain is a weather event where heavy winds sweep red dust from the Sahara Desert into the atmosphere, turning skies orange and mixing with rain to leave muddy, reddish puddles and caked surfaces. It is essential it is rinsed off of boats to stop the staining of gelcoat surfaces, covers, biminis, tenders and also preventing it from blocking drains and causing damage.

This video shows what is necessary to gain good access to the engine bay of a Fairline Targa 45. Nearly all companies are constrained by timesheets. The majority of the time, once a job is logged it has to be charged for. The original video time is 42 minutes. Not forgetting, it all has to be done again but in reverse. That's nearly 1.5 hours labour you could be potentially paying for on top of the actual job tasked! If you have a Guardianage package with the Guardian, many of these charges can be avoided. It's been a busy few weeks for the Guardian! Three yard periods back to back. Only one more to go. Not that Mike can relax, owners are already using their yachts and there is still plenty of work to do! He'll manage it though, he's an expert in guardianage & yacht management.

The Guardian would like to take a moment to wish you all a Happy Easter! Even though it's the holiday weekend, Mike will still be available to all his owners 24/7. They will be able to enjoy & relax on their yachts (motor & sail) that have been prepared ready for the busy weekend.
