Another day, another journey! 🐾🚐
Currently on the ferry, taking in the views around Palma before we dock in Barcelona 🇪🇸
From there it’s back on the road through France 🇫🇷, with the aim of getting a few hours’ sleep when I finally get the chance!
People see the happy reunion at the end of a pet transport journey, but there’s a lot of miles, planning, ferries, roads and early starts behind the scenes to get those furry passengers safely where they need to be.
For me, it’s all part of the job — and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️🐶🐱

🐾 THE JOURNEY BEHIND THE JOURNEY… 🚐🇪🇸
What a journey it has been!
Since taking delivery of my new vehicle, I’ve had one mission: to turn it into a fully compliant, purpose-built transport vehicle that provides pets with the comfort, safety and care they deserve. 🐶❤️
But getting there has been anything but straightforward!
From converting the vehicle from Polish plates to Spanish registration, navigating mountains of bureaucracy and red tape, having it professionally fitted and adapted for animal transport, and getting it down-plated to under 2.5 tonnes…
There have been tow bars to remove, modifications to make, inspections to pass, paperwork to complete, hurdles to overcome and plenty of bridges to cross! 😂
Then came the sign writing, the final checks and, most importantly, the homologation here in Spain.
And now I can finally say:
✅ Spanish registered
✅ Fully homologated in Spain
✅ Professionally adapted for animal transport
✅ Down-plated to under 2.5 tonnes
✅ Sign written
✅ Fully compliant
✅ READY TO GO! 🚐🐾
Every box has been ticked. ✔️
It’s been a long road, but I wanted to make sure everything was done properly, safely and legally — because when you’re transporting someone’s beloved pet, nothing less is good enough.
So here’s to the next chapter of Happytrailz Pet Transport! 🐾
The paperwork and red tape are finally behind me… and now it’s time to put the wheels to work. 🚐💨
30th September marks the next journey, with a beautiful pet on board. ❤️🐶
