Ojos Negros by Bike 🚲

Ready for a proper cycling adventure? The train up to Caudiel should be ready this autumn, follow the spectacular Ojos Negros Greenway downhill all the way towards Sagunto.

The Caudiel-to-Sagunto section is around 53 km, passing through forests, villages, old railway bridges, Segorbe, Navajas and the Palancia Valley before finishing near Algimia de Alfara/Sagunto.

The train is ready — just check the latest Renfe timetable before travelling. Bikes are permitted on Cercanías and regional trains free of charge (regional need a booking for the bike)

Pack water, snacks and your phone, then enjoy one of the best downhill cycling routes near Valencia. A big day out, beautiful scenery and a fantastic way to explore the region on two wheels!

Jávea by Bike: Promenade, Windmills & Sea Cliffs 🌊🚲

Hop on an ALSA coach with your bike bagged up (€10 bike supplement, bag required — no boxes, no e-bikes). Once there, cruise the flat, traffic-free Arenal promenade around the port

Combine with hiking from the port end hike up to Els Molins, Jávea's historic windmills (11 built between the 14th-18th centuries) for a great elevated lookout, then continue toward Portitxol 🌬️. Park the bike at the Mirador de la Creu del Portitxol and take the short, easy path down to Cala Portitxol, with its famous fishermen's huts and the little offshore island — one of the most photographed spots in Jávea. For more, push on south to Cap de la Nau's dramatic sea cliffs.
