🇪🇺✈️ When wildfires put Europe under pressure, proven aerial assets make the difference.

Recent operations in France have once again shown the strategic role of the Air Tractor AT-802 in European firefighting. According to recent reports, eight AT-802 aircraft have been mobilised to support the response to major wildfires in southern France, including aircraft from France, Spain, Sweden and Cyprus through national deployments and the EU rescEU mechanism.

This is not an isolated case. Across Europe, the AT-802 has become a highly valued firefighting platform thanks to its versatility, operational efficiency and ability to be rapidly deployed where it is needed most.

Whether operating from land bases or in its amphibious Fire Boss configuration, the AT-802 is especially well suited for initial attack, continuous water drops, temporary bases and operations close to the affected area. Its proven track record, reliability and flexibility make it a key asset for national and European wildfire response strategies.
