I appreciate that I completed a feedback form for you last week, but just wanted to follow up having had time to reflect on the course - and the joy of being firmly back in the reality of work / winter in the UK!
Firstly, thank you for the hospitality (initial meet, full fridge / cereals tea, coffee etc. / lunches, last day certification etc.). It really does make a difference to the overall experience.
I’d also like to recognise Romeo as our instructor for the week. Great fun, easy going, made everyone feel included, pulled rank when appropriate to do so in a non-confrontational way, and managed expectations very well considering we had a few challenges with dynamics in our group.
More importantly, I learnt lots during the week, and was appreciative of, and encouraged by the continuous feedback. I didn’t let him know, but as a dingy instructor I was making lots of mental notes and will adopt some of his strategies!
Suffice to say, I enjoyed the experience and will hopefully be back.
