A summer day on two wheels 🚲🌿

One of the things we love about summer in Aavasaksa is how easy it is to explore the area by bike.

This time, Team WALD Villas, Kaisa & Olli, crossed the river into Sweden and stopped for a refreshing before continuing the journey through the beautiful landscapes of the Tornio River Valley.

Along the way, there are plenty of places to pause. A swim in the river, a visit to Ekobadet, a quiet forest road, or simply taking in the views that stretch across two countries.

Bikes can be rented through WALD Villas together with your stay, as well as from Mukka Matarengi and Erä-Kalle .

Sometimes summer is best experienced one kilometre at a time.
