Traditional autumn delicacies meet Middle Eastern flavors 🍂

Starting August 26th, Buffet Eckerö restaurant offers a new autumn menu – featuring everything from classic autumn delicacies to Middle Eastern flavors. Will your favorite be, for example, cold-smoked rainbow trout, roast beef in red wine sauce, and fried liver, or rather falafels, tahini chicken, Halloumi cheese, and lemon hummus?! And for dessert, apples with vanilla cream, liquorice-chocolate mousse, or a Dubai-style trifle 😍.

Eckerö Line's vessel MS Finbo Cargo is now utilizing solar energy ☀️

Over the past weekend, 120 solar panels were installed on the ship, which are estimated to generate around 70 MWh of clean energy annually. The panels are now operational and generate power on sunny days. The goal is to save approximately 15 tons of fuel per year. This investment is part of our ongoing work to increase energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
Solel Åland was responsible for the installation, and the system is designed with the capability to expand its capacity in the future.☀️
