Kehitämme parhaillaan sertifikaatin kriteeristöä vastataksemme entistä paremmin eläin- ja luontomatkailun trendien kehitykseen ja kiristyvään lainsäädäntöön.
Kaikkia nykyisiä Green Activities -kriteerejä on muokattu ja mukaan on tullut aiempaa laajempi velvoite sertifioidun yrityksen ympäristövaikutusten seurantaan.
Uudistuksen keskeisimpiä eläinohjelmapalveluja koskevia muutoksia ovat aiempaa tiukemmat vaatimukset liittyen vetokoirien harjoittamiseen, terveydenhoitoon ja -seurantaan sekä koppien lämpöeristykseen. Porokriteeristö säätelee entistä tarkemmin porojen työ- ja vapaa-aikoja sekä koulutusvaiheen kiinnipitämistä.
Myös matkailijoiden ja työntekijöiden mahdollisuuksia ilmoittaa eläinten huonosta kohtelusta, on parannettu.

Green Activities is a sustainability certification specifically designed for activity service companies.
We certify:
🌱 Nature-based activity services
🐕🦺 Tourism companies with sled dogs
🦌 Tourism companies with reindeer
We are currently developing the certification criteria to better respond to evolving trends in animal and nature tourism, as well as increasingly strict legislation.
All existing Green Activities criteria have been revised, and the updated framework includes broader requirements for monitoring the environmental impacts of certified companies.
The most significant changes related to animal-based activity services include stricter requirements concerning sled dog training, healthcare and monitoring, as well as kennel insulation. The reindeer criteria now regulate reindeer working and rest periods more precisely, along with tethering practices during the training phase.
We have also improved the opportunities for tourists and employees to report poor treatment of animals.
