Here we can see a horse entrepreneur in their natural habitat. 👀

She has spotted a special offer on horse feed and, naturally, ordered a very large quantity. 😮‍💨🥕🐴

Her gym routine occurs approximately twice a year - usually whenever there’s a good deal on feed. 🏋🏼‍♀️💪🏻

And just like that the horses have food for dark nights of October! ✨🐴
And horse entrepreneur will be ready for the next delivery. 🫠

And the culprits are having the time of their lives. 🤪
Nice to see our fresh-from-the-wash rug brings joy in some form. 😅

Senioriseurapiiri Martti ja Vertti piti tuossa aiemmin yhteisen torikokouksen pikkupihatolla. 🤝

Siellä suoritettiin kokouksen arvovaltaisten jäsenten kesken mukavuuskysely kokeellisten päiväunien muodossa ja tultiin sellaiseen loppupäätelmään, että on tehtävä vetoomus nuorisovandaalien tuhoamien oviverhojen korvaamisesta. ☝🏻

Reklamaatio otettiin vastaan välittömästi. 🏃‍♀️💨

The senior gentlemen’s committee, Martti & Vertti, held an important town hall meeting earlier today in the little shelter. 🤝

The distinguished members conducted a comfort survey in the form of experimental afternoon naps and reached one unanimous conclusion: the door curtains destroyed by youthful vandals must be replaced immediately. ☝🏻

The complaint was received without delay. 🏃‍♀️💨

Palveluskunta reagoi tietysti takavarikoimalla oppaamme varastoista ylimääräiset räsymatot, joilla herrasväen viihtyvyyttä ja metsätarhan värimaailmaa kirkastettiin merkittävästi.🌈

Jo verhoasennuksen yhteydessä aiemmin mainittujen nuorisovandaalien kahdesta yksilöstä - Onni & Villi - koostuva jengi kokoontui tapahtumapaikalle ja suoritti innokasta häiriökäyttäytymistä kokeilemalla, kuinka parhaiten verhoja saapi hulmuteltua luvattomasti. 🦄

Nähtäväksi jää, näkevätkö nämä matot ensilumen? 🙄

The service crew responded swiftly by confiscating a few spare rag rugs from our guide’s secret stash, dramatically improving both the gentlemen’s comfort and the colour palette of the forest paddock. 🌈

As the new curtains were being installed, the previously mentioned youth vandal gang - a fearsome duo of two individuals, Onni & Villi - arrived at the scene and immediately began testing how enthusiastically the curtains could be flapped without permission. 🦄

Now the only question is… will these rugs survive until the first snowfall? 🙄

Jälleen on vaihtumassa Lapissa vuodenaika. 🍂

Ruska on kattanut maiseman värejä täyteen, ja horisontissa hehkuu lehtipuiden kulta ja räikeä neon-keltainen. ✨

Maassa pötköttää punainen kangasmatto, ja poimimatta jääneet muhkeat mustikat möllöttää syyttävästi varvikosta.🫐👀

Meillä seitsemän suomenhevosveljestä satuloidaan, ja lähdetään rauhaksiin katselemaan metsän maisemia. Kohta kääntyy jo esiin repaleinen lokakuun sivu, ja talvi on askeleen lähempänä. 🍂🐴

Once again, the seasons are changing in Lapland. 🍂

The autumn colours have painted the landscape in brilliant shades, with the horizon glowing in golden birch leaves and vivid neon yellow. ✨

A crimson carpet stretches across the forest floor, while the plump blueberries left unpicked stare back at us accusingly from the undergrowth. 🫐👀

Here, our seven Finnhorse brothers are being saddled, ready for a peaceful ride through the quiet beauty of the forest. Soon, the worn page of October will turn, and winter will be one step closer. 🍂🐴

Pitkä vaellus kultamaille lähestyi.. ja se vaatisi joen ylittämistä moneen kertaan. 😱

Meet Eino. 🐴

Eino is our little boy… a 7-year-old Finnhorse with the sweetest heart. 🩵

Just two weeks ago, he wasn’t brave enough to cross a small creek. 🫣

But our long wilderness trek to the Lapland goldfields was getting closer—and that adventure means crossing rivers again and again. 😱

So we did what every good team does…
We went out to practice. 💪🏻

Hevosen jännittäminen tai epävarmuus ei ole niskoittelua tai temppuilua. Sitä jännittää.

Mieti sen paikalle vaikka lapsi, joka ei ymmärrä vaikka kuinka suomenkieleksi selittää, että puro ei ole portti Tuonelaan. Voi se silti olla. 😮‍💨

M***a hevonen ymmärtää äänensävyt.
Rohkaisun, kehun, ja kannustamisen. 👏🏻

A horse’s hesitation isn’t stubbornness or bad behavior. It’s uncertainty.

Imagine a child who truly believes the little creek in front of them might be the entrance to the underworld. You can explain it a hundred times - but fear doesn’t disappear just because someone says, ”It’s safe.” 😮‍💨

Horses don’t understand our words the way we do. They understand our tone of voice, our patience, and our confidence.

Encouragement. Praise. Reassurance. That’s the language they trust. 👏🏻

Eino is an incredibly food-motivated little horse. 🤭

At first, there was only one treat… and it helped a little. 🥹

But when the treats turned into a whole handful, suddenly the roaring creek didn’t seem nearly as terrifying. 😌
