Have you ever witnessed the Northern Lights?

The nights are magical in Lapland: It's peaceful and quiet, under the stars one can enjoy the cold, crispy air and the sense of space around. With no hurry to be anywhere, no pressure to do anything. One can simply be. And once in a while, the spectacular Northern Lights will appear.

At Joiku Safaris, we go outdoors late in the evenings, lay the sleighs behind our reindeer, and head out to where the village lights can't reach us. Sometimes, we're lucky with the auroras, other times not – yet the experience is always soul soothing and beautiful.

There's plenty of snow, and we are already going on reindeer safaris! ❄

At Joiku Safaris our daytime tour is a two hour safari in the wilderness with some magnificent views. The late evening tour is a three hour aurora hunting safari, so fingers crossed for clear skies and the magic of the northern lights!

Whatever the weather, the experience is amazing! (And as you can guess: we can't give you guarantees of the weather or auroras, that's up to nature itself.)

☀️Daytime reindeer tours starts at 10am and 1pm every day.
🌙Aurora hunting tours start at 8pm every day.
(Please note: Departure times can vary during certain special dates, and some tours might be sold out.)

Lunta piisaa reen alle, joten Joiku Safareiden porosafareista nautitaan jo! ❄

Päiväsaikaan katsellaan upeita tunturimaisemia ja hidastetaan elämää Lapin metsän tunnelmissa. Myöhäisillan safareilla etsitään parhaita revontulipaikkoja ja kietoudutaan taianomaisen Lapin yön syliin.

Oli keli mikä hyvänsä, täällä on aina hyvä olla! Ja tämänhän te tiesittekin: sää- tai revontulilupauksia emme voi tehdä, näistä päättää luonto itse.

☀️ Päivälähtömme ovat kello 10:00 ja 13:00 joka päivä
🌙 Revontulia metsästämme illalla kello 20:00 alkaen.
(Huomaa, että pyhinä tai muina erityispäivinä lähtöajat saattavat muuttua, eikä varauksia voi tehdä, kun safari on loppuunmyyty.)
