Ulkoilun jälkeen maistuukin kahvilan emännän itseleivotut paikalliset herkut. Alkuun suolaista poropiirakkaa tai kalan ystäville maukasta muikkupizzaa lämpimien juomien kera. Makean nälkään uunituoretta kotipullaa sekä juuri paistettuja munkkeja takaavat suussa sulavan makunautinnon. Keväällä paistamme terassilta jälleen suuren suosion saaneita muurinpohjalättyjä, luonnonmarjoilla ja kermavaahdolla.

As the season slowly comes to an end… ❄️✨
What a winter it’s been!

From the first snow to these final days, we’ve shared so many special moments with our guests, our team and of course the animals who make this place truly magical 🐾

A huge thank you to everyone who visited us this season and to the incredible team behind it all 💛

Every husky safari looks a little different 🐾
No two rides are ever the same!

Spring has arrived early this year.
From fresh snow to softer trails, conditions are always changing at this time of year.

Husky safaris are weather dependent right now, but when they run - it’s still just as special ✨ 🐾

Reindeer chocolate 🍫

Don’t worry… it’s not actually chocolate, it’s
lichen (their favourite winter food)

As you can see, they absolutely love it!

A few reindeer facts:

🦌 Reindeer are natural grazers and spend most of the day eating
🦌 In the wild they mainly eat lichen, grasses, moss and shrubs
🦌 They have 4 stomach chambers to help digest tough Arctic plants

And yes… they will happily keep eating if snacks are available.

Feeding the reindeer is one of the favourite moments for many visitors here at Lammintupa ✨
