Friday and time for some chartering news.

Mv Mimer was redelivered 28 April in Almeria, Spain from Flot France Espagne. Thereafter Mimer departed directly for Marseille, for about a month a time charter, for CMA CGM. The trade is between Marseille, France and Casablanca, Marocco.

Mv Aurora was redelivered from Peregar and the Algeciras-Ceuta trade 1 May. Aurora thereafter stayed in Malaga for one week. The week was well used for maintenance work, we thank all onboard for great work and efforts. This afternoon Aurora will departure from Malaga for the Caribbean. Aurora is time chartered to Priority RoRo also known as Marinex (same charterer as some years ago chartered Mimer). The trade will be between San Juan, Puerto Rico, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands, Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas, US Virgin Islands, Fort de France, Martinique (France) and Christiansted, St Croix, US Virgin Islands. The charter is until mid/end of November.

A big congratulations to Gheorghe Linte, motorman on mv Baltic Bright and substitute 3rd Engineer in our fleet, who has completed his degree in engineering and is now entitled to use the degree title Bachelor of Engineering!

Recently on board mv Mimer, the crew carried out a MOB (Man Overboard) boat drill while docked in the port of Almeria, Spain. These boats are typically used for rescue operations to retrieve individuals who have fallen overboard, making regular drills essential to ensure the crew is fully prepared in the event of a real emergency.

A big thank you to the crew on Mimer for sharing a glimpse of life on board!
