We are Sarah and Anne-Sophie, two internationally-minded Bordelaises who have lived in places around the world, and have learned that the best memories are connected with local experiences! We are keen on exploring Bordeaux together with people of the same interest. The idea is simple: we want to

o explore this beautiful city! Have you really connected with locals and got to know your city of residence? We don't mean just a regular hanging-out in a pub with loud music, but actually do activities! Have you sometimes wondered what the stories are behind the beautiful facades are, or what local events are happening? Have you wanted to try a newly discovered Brasserie, volunteer in local events, go hiking… but not alone? Or simply have a community of like-minded where you can ask “How do I…?” “Where do you…?” ? This is where we would like to make the link:
* Connect locals and expats/ foreigners/ newly-arrived through interesting activities
* Connect with the local lifestyle and city the “non-tourist” way through local creative, fun, and also serious activities events:
Do a guided tour of a museum or building, visit an exposition/fair, discover hidden places, go hiking, maybe meet local personalities... just to give some examples. If you know about an activity/event that you think could fit it, let us know!!
* Get you to use your English or French. Or both. Events will be posted in English, event communication depends on the group. This group is non-commercial and free to join. However, activities may involve costs (transport) or require participation fees for the event provider (guide, brunch place…), some of them to paid up-front, in order to ensure that they can go through. The idea of this group is based off the concept "AMS connected" (in Amsterdam) and non-commercial (thus we don't make any profit from running this group)
