Englishman in Provence

Englishman in Provence I've created alight hearted, irreverent commentary on life in Provence, from an English perspective I carry them both wherever I go.

I’m a Londoner of a certain age, tolerated by my wife, Frederique (refugee from Lyon) for a good few years with two wonderful independent daughters. My most treasured possessions are my iPad and a fully functioning liver. Frederique and I decided to relocate to Provence around three years ago and now spend about 8 months of the year in the Var, bizarrely migrating north to London, for the winter.

The plan is to have a regular, slightly quirky commentary on what I find strange, funny and downright odd about my fellow Provençaux. Living amongst them in their natural habitat and observing. I will post a regular update on www.englishmaninprovence.com, you can also follow me on Twitter and instagram
