We checked the price of getting to Geneva Airport — and thought we’d make a little comparison.

Not because we don’t like Uber. We do.But when you’re travelling with a family or a group, the cheapest-looking car isn’t always the cheapest journey.

An UberX in our screenshots was showing around €287–€336 for up to 4 passengers.

Luggage Safety Notice – Travel Safe with GoPRIME

Your safety and comfort are our priority.

Small personal items such as handbags, small backpacks, laptop bags, shopping bags and coats may be kept in the passenger cabin as long as they can be stored safely and do not obstruct the driver, seat belts, doors or emergency exits.

🚗 Please remember:
Suitcases, large backpacks, strollers, skis and other bulky or heavy items must always be placed in the luggage compartment (trunk).

Even if there appears to be enough space inside the passenger cabin, any item that could become a hazard during sudden braking or an accident must be stored in the trunk.

For safety reasons, our drivers may ask passengers to move an item to the luggage compartment if they believe it could interfere with the safe operation of the vehicle.

🎤 A few honest questions about running a transport company in Chamonix...

(And yes, this photo was taken back in 2018... when fuel was cheaper, life was simpler, and we thought two airport transfers in one day meant we were BUSY. 😂)

❓ Has the transport business changed?

Absolutely.

Like many local drivers, we've had to adapt to a world where apps and platforms like Uber have completely changed customer expectations.

Some see that as a threat.

We decided to see it as an opportunity.

Instead of fighting technology, we asked ourselves:

"How can we make it work better for our passengers and our valley?"

That's why we joined Uber Comfort, and why we've been pushing for Uber XL in Chamonix. A mountain destination full of families, hikers and ski groups deserves vehicles that can actually fit people and luggage! 😅

❓ Why do you keep investing in new things?

Because standing still simply isn't an option.

Since 2018 we've launched our own app, online booking tools, new local websites and obtained a transport licence that gives us more flexibility across the Alps.

Not because it was easy, but because better information, easier booking and strong local partnerships make everyone's experience better.

❓ What's the biggest challenge?

Keeping the human side of the business alive.

Technology is fantastic, but mountain transport is still about people.

It's answering late-night WhatsApps when flights are delayed, knowing the difference between a TMB hiker and a family arriving from Geneva, and building real relationships with local hotels, chalets and businesses year after year.

❓ What's next?

More improvements. More partnerships. More ways to make travelling around Mont Blanc easier.

The goal hasn't changed since 2018:

🔒 Fixed Price – Be fixed, we'll be fixed too!
Perfect if you like certainty.
Your price is confirmed before you travel and won't change.

✅ Taxi bookings: at least 24 hours in advance
✅ Transfer bookings: at least 72 hours in advance

Fixed prices apply to confirmed and paid bookings, giving both you and us complete peace of mind.

🚕 Taximeter Price – Stay flexible, we'll stay flexible too!
Need a ride on the go?

✔ Book instantly via the GoPRIME App or WhatsApp
✔ Free cancellation before dispatch
✔ Pay only for the distance and time you actually use

Availability depends on demand, traffic and the time of day—but if flexibility is what you're looking for, this is the perfect choice.

ℹ️ A few things to know:

• Standard airport pick-up time is your scheduled landing time + 30 minutes.
• Chamonix Valley pick-ups include 5 minutes of complimentary waiting time.
• Extra waiting time or route changes (derouting) requested by passengers are charged extra.
• Please inform us of any flight delays, cancellations or schedule changes, as flights are not automatically monitored unless agreed in advance.
• Your booking becomes valid only after receiving written confirmation from GoPRIME.
• On the spot card payments have a 3.5% administration fee (minimum €3).

🚕Thank you for an amazing winter season!
