This June the 12th to the 15th I'm taking part in the World Climate Relay, alongside people from 45 countries to raise money for high impact climate solutions.

Whilst I have long distance bike toured all over the world often twice a year for the past 20 years crossing continents and covering vast distances between 3,000km to 6,000km in 4 weeks. I have never asked for sponsorship, so now is your chance to sponsor our 450km 3 day, 3 person challenging cycle across the heart of the Italian dolomites crossing some big alpine cols unsupported.

100% of all donations go to top climate non-profits, hand picked by climate researchers for their exceptional impact.

Haute Transfer has been supporting the World Climate Relay since it's inception, and today marks the start of the challenge week.

You can join the Big Mountain Trail Club for a special run in Chamonix on Sunday 7th June from 1500-1900hrs

There are also other events around the Chamonix area to join during the week.

Our own Charlie Docherty will be taking part with 2 friends from the 12th-15th June, alongside people from 45 countries to raise money for high impact climate solutions.

Dolomites 450km cycle in 3 days Christy, Alun and Charlie D

Day 1 is the ‘easy intro’, none of the big classic passes but decent distance with not too much altitude gain.

Day 2 is the big distance day 200km with ascent of Stelvio both directions and a big loop around into Switzerland + Austria.

Day 3 is the killer. Shortest in distance but takes on the Mortirolo (12km & 12%avg 🤯) & the Gavia - clockwise the easy way or anti clockwise the proper ‘ard way.

Winter is not over yet!
10-15cm of new snow overnight at 800m, Chamonix is has reverted back to winter this mornings with around 40-50cm of new snow at 2000m. Ongoing snowfall today, some sun tomorrow Friday 27th and winter days this weekend.
