Niesen Season Opener – Mist & magic. 🏔️🔥
Technically the season is officially open, but the Niesen decided to keep its summit hidden today. We traded the famous 360° panorama for a full-on whiteout and some serious „burn“ in the legs. 🦾
It’s that special time of year in the Bernese Oberland where you start in the green and finish in a winter wonderland. From spring trails to deep mist and snow in just a few hundred vertical meters – a proper way to wake up the mountain lungs! 🫁🔥
Still, there’s something special about having the summit to yourself in these moody conditions. The „Stairway to Heaven“ felt more like a stairway into the clouds today. ☁️✨
