Chicken Pizza.
Been there, done it, seen it! Boom!

To be honest this place was just incredible. Having just visited Egypt, these pyramids (well yes missing the tip) are in a lot better shape than Gizas ones. They even had colours, you could imagine so easily how magnificent these used to be.

If you have the chance, do visit! Even if it requires a tourist trip on bus, loads of ppl trying to sell you things and constantly trying to dodge being ripped off.

My son is an 8-year-old TODAY!! 🎉

He’s a fierce footballer and I can say that I haven’t contributed much to this passion. A little is better than nothing: I’ve been extremely goalie positive throughout the years which means he’s been training for all positions and loves being in the goal too. I’ve also contributed endless chats about world’s best goalkeepers and finally before his 8th birthday he said: ”Ok mummy, you can buy me a Casillas kit”. Definitely the coolest kit in his collection.

Happy Birthday Elijah!

It’s time to spill the beans about my first ever official long run: the Half Marathon.

Started running in September 2025, could hardly slow jog for 3kms. But I was determined to prove myself that 40 is not too old to do something new, reach new highs, so I kept on jogging.

April 19th 2026 I had signed up to run the Half Marathon in Fleury, France with my dear friend . The week before I started to feel right leg pains but decided that they were not going to hold me down. Of course my period unexpentantly started the day before the run, meaning I was on a heavy flow day during the run (and yes it showed!!). Mood was not the best and I was doubting I could run under 3h.

were awesome in allowing us to finish even if it went over the normal 3h mark and for sure I finished 2 minutes past 3 hours. But I got my medal 🏅

So I am officially an Half Marathon finisher although things didn’t go exactly to plan. And I am so proud of myself!

Wine tasting. 🍇

Funny enough I have done wine tasting in Finland, Florida, Australia, Switzerland and these pictures are from Portugal: I’m lacking wine tasting in FRANCE! This needs to be fixed soon.

So I recently found out that one of my favourite bands (from my youger years) had taken back as now one of their two lead singers. And I went on a real 3DG trip down the memory lane when listening to their new album. And I have to admit I couldn’t help but to use the audio (Mayday was not available on Instagram!!!) and make this reel (So all rights of audio belong to them).

Thank you Three Days Grace for being there throughout my youth. Thank you Brad Walst for recognising us from the concert at Hoobastank’s backstage in Sweden. That conversation made our night! Thank you 3DG for being there when my mum died with the song: Lifetime. And thanks for this one. As an Cabin Crew, I approve of this song.

And Happy Birthday to easyJet. 30 years of making a difference in Europe!!

OMG!! Country number 50!!!

🌟And made it well before 40 comes around next year. I am so happy I’ve made it this far and looking forward to the next 50 countries! I will be starting up a series of all the 50 countries I’ve visited with some of my random memories once I get back from Lisbon.

👟And yes, I am mid run in this picture. I’m training for a run for next year as I feel like 50 countries before 40 wasn’t enough big of an achievement. 😅

Couple days ago flew by my old base: Marseille. Although I can regognise many of the map’s curves, left amazing people behind and have great memories attached to this place, I sighed with happiness that I was continuing home to Geneva.

These past 6 months have been a whilrwind but I am so happy. The kids started school last week and they’re so happy. Mr Merry (although always grumpy) is happy. This was such a good move for us. But for sure a part of me will still stay behind in Marseille.

🇱🇮 Liechtenstein, Mr Merry’s 50th country.

I have to say that as a bit of a fan of these European mini countries, Liechtenstein was a bit of a disappointment. I thought I would get more excited about it but I prefer San Marino, Luxembourg or Andorra any day to Liechtenstein.

Extremely expensive 💲Spent 90CHF on bagels and juices (to give an example). But for someone who likes a nice walk (our kids don’t co-operate on this very well), this place probably has a lot more to offer. It is quite a majestic country surrounded by the mountain views.
