UPDATE: The move to the Alpes has been cancelled and I'm going to Nice again instead. So I have some space going to Lyon and a whole van's worth of space Lyon-Nice.

After a busy - and hot! - summer, things are cooling down.

I have a return trip to Lyon and the Alpes coming up in the second week of September; no precise dates yet, but I have space available in both directions and could even deviate (a bit) off the route.

If you need anything moved anywhere between Brittany and almost-but-not-quite Italy, let me know!

SOS URGENT HELP NEEDED - Appeal to Individuals and all other associations.
A guy messaged me yesterday to say he has a mum cat and her 5 kittens at his holiday home and he is going back to the UK on Tuesday (so tomorrow). Sadly, we are at full capacity at ours so I have offered to do a post for him to try and see if anyone can help and offer homes or foster or if any other associations can help him and come and take them on .
From a financial side I have pledged to get young mum cat sterilised so the situation does not explode into a proliferation of cats and if funds allow we can help too with the 5 kittens if someone can offer them homes and will honour this if any other association can help too.
We do not know anything about the kittens except he says they are around 8 to 10 weeks. He has been at his place for the last 3 weeks and has seen them every day and they all come to him for food. Young mum cat is timid and shy. Please can anyone help? If you can help please send me a message (not a comment as I may miss it).. thank you for sharing too. The cats are in Gouarec.
I have asked if he has neighbours or friends who can feed them and he has said no. So if anyone can help who lives in or near to Gouarec can you message me as we need to keep them on the site if we are to trap mum cat and relocate the kittens as otherwise they are likely to go off in search of food and be lost.
Mum is marl tabby grey; Kittens are 3 black, 1 cream and 1 grey tabby. No idea if boys or girls.

May 2026 is due to begin with a run back from Paris on the 1st (yes, I know I shouldn't be working) and ends with a return trip down to the southern Ardèche.

In the meantime I have regular runs planned between Brittany and the south west.
