Happiness is a parking up next to a beach on Ile D Ré, cockle picking for an amazing dinner. Chorizo, red onion, garlic, half a tonne of butter and half a bottle of Muscadet white wine. Perfection

New inner tubes and tyres on the bike, the bottle holder loaded with cheap cider, a beautiful sunset on the Isle d ré coast and stone stacking. Tues evening completed.

Had a fantastic ride with Rustic Vines around St Emilion, a great chance to learn about the area with our host Tim, whilst also working off some of those wine bread and cheese calories we have been adding up since our trip began. Although on ebikes it was cheating a little😁

Had a lovely 3 night stay here parked next to the pond. Set amongst the vines is a perfect spot. A 25min cycle to St Emilion(the hills are easier on the way back) and within a cycle ride of many winery's and Chateau's. Mathaius was a fantastic host, kindly gifting us a bottle of his fine Rosé on arrival. A tour of his winery and a purchase of his amazing wines is a must. Thank you we will be back Chateau La Fleur des Amandiers
